    (for blocking in)

    (love the marks made by these!)

Pointed Sable Mix, size 4

    (for fine finishing details)



I also recommend the Evergreen line, and the Golden Synthetic flats

are great if you would like something with a softer touch.

In this class session we will do several painting exercises exploring how to use perspective in your landscapes… and how to shift it to tell a story!  Kari will provide reference images on screen to paint from. Prior to class, take a look at the landscape around you for examples of perspective - farm fields, architecture, streets and sidewalks, construction sites… it’s everywhere!

In this class session we will do several painting exercises exploring one of Kari’s favorite subjects - working boats!  Think lobster boats in Massachusetts to shrimp boats in Louisiana…We will paint studies of some examples from her travels!
